GILAVAR Engineering is offering a PCB Layout
and schematic capturing services which emphasize design skills far
beyond regular PCB designers and CAD drafters. Projects are managed by
an experienced electrical engineer to define current and heat
distribution, EMI, cross-talks and preparation of manufacturing
documentation. In addition, we can support the conversion of your
electrical schematics to become
RoHS compliant. We can also create a Solidworks assembly file to
represent the PCB in mechanical designs.

your files and submit: REQUEST FOR QUOTE FORM

Here are the three necessary files we need
to start a PCB Layout:
Netlist generated by
schematic capturing software. Netlist is a library of component
parameters, NETs and nodes representing your schematic.
If you don’t have netlist, we can capture a schematic from a
hard-copy or a hand drawing sketch and generate all
necessary files from there.
BOM Bill of Materials should
clearly represent complete manufacturer part numbers with links for
footprint information. Part numbers should include all prefixes and
suffixes for packaging info.
Board outlines drawing
Preferably in DXF, or any other form of drawings with dimensioned
outline details. If you are using CAD software, be sure you are set
to 1x1 scale for DXF export. Most common mistake is to generate DXF
without paying attention to export options. Usually they are not set
to a 1x1 scale by default and the generated file will become useless
for us.
If you have your own design and need
PCB fabrication only; then it is necessary to provide a
fabrication package to us. For more information or support on files
needed, please contact

Additional information can help us to save you
time and money.
-
Layout instructions
-
Schematic drawings in
Orcad (*.dsn) or
Altium Protel( *.sch, *.schdoc) files.
-
Mechanical drawings in
Solidworks (*.sldpart,
*.sldasm) format
-
Components datasheets in PDF or links to
datasheets from a manufacturer website.
-
Any additional information you may
provide can help us with your application.
In many cases we can expedite incoming order
or you can order rush service at flexible rate.
This is the standard package we deliver:
Optional documents we can provide:
-
Schematic file in
Altium Protel format
-
Professionally generated BOM for
engineering control, parts purchising and assembly in
Ms.Excel format.
-
3D PCB outline model with pads in
SolidWorks .sldpart format.
-
3D assembly model with components in
SolidWorks .sldasm format....View
demo image.
* Most of today's PCB
Layout applications are supporting import of Protel formatted files.
